Keeping our community well-informed will always be at the forefront. Providing a consistent, accurate, and informative details of the ongoing projects throughout the village ensures a stronger and engaged community. Addressing professional and coordinated communication on a timely matter is essential to both quality customer service and maintaining a positive image for our community.

  • Develop a marketing and communications plans that outlined goals and tactics for reaching Steger residents, businesses, while reaching commercial sectors outside of the village while making Steger residents the highest priority.

  • Update the village’s current social media Website/Facebook pages to ensure technology advancements and upgrades, such as streaming videos, and information are up to date. Enhancing the Village’s website will provide increased information and a convenience for Steger residents, businesses and village employees.

  • Newsletter – Provide an electronic quarterly newsletter to showcase the important service and program information, including articles about policy decisions, longer-term strategic village initiatives, economic development, as well as other community programs.

  • Addressing the marketing and communication needs will provide a clear detail of the village’s message of our obligation to be open, honest, and accountable to our citizens of Steger.
